I think that African Elephants are some of the most majestic animals in the world. They seem to have a very genuine soul. I hope that we can work towards keeping these beautiful creatures alive and in our world.

I can't honestly say the exact amount of hours but I started this piece months ago and finally finished. Maybe 50+ hours or so...

WOW very detailed and with such diff leads too! I find they smudge but your looks very finely completed.

Great!
Good composition, Im also amazed with the details, specially the elephant's skin.

I just wish that more people were worried about elephant hunting, animal extinction and the environment in general... Perhaps a good drawing could help.

I have to say that they did smudge occasionally but I have my handy dandy eraser to save me when that happened. haha.

It was no easy task.
I have been working on and off for months and there were definitely times where I just wanted to give up anyway... but you gotta keep on trucking sometimes.

I love the texture of the trees and the tough skin of the elephant...all done awesomely well :worship: ....but i love your message the most :nod:
